May 2020: Home prices in New Albany increased

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2020 in New Albany rose by $219,300 while total sales decreased by 90.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2020, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $811,750 - a 37% increase over the $592,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 22 homes sold in New Albany in May 2019.

The median sales tax in New Albany for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $12,245, approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for May 2020.
