Westerville home prices rose in the second quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2021 in Westerville rose by $29,500 while total sales increased by 141.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2021, there were 41 homes sold, with a median sale price of $295,000 - a 11.1% increase over the $265,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 17 homes sold in Westerville in the second quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Westerville for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $5,424, approximately 1.8% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2021.
