The fourth quarter of 2020: New Albany experienced a 6.6% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2020 in New Albany rose by $36,000 while total sales decreased by 60%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2020, there were 14 homes sold, with a median sale price of $583,500 - a 6.6% increase over the $547,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 35 homes sold in New Albany in the fourth quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in New Albany for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $12,245, approximately 2.1% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2020.
