The first half of 2021: New Albany experienced a 2.2% drop in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2021 in New Albany fell by $13,250 while total sales decreased by 8.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2021, there were 31 homes sold, with a median sale price of $599,000 - a 2.2% decrease over the $612,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 34 homes sold in New Albany in the first half of 2020.

The median sales tax in New Albany for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $12,245, approximately 2% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2021.
