September 2021: Home prices in New Albany fell

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2021 in New Albany fell by $64,750 while total sales increased by 75%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2021, there were 14 homes sold, with a median sale price of $595,250 - a 9.8% decrease over the $660,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in New Albany in September 2020.

The median sales tax in New Albany for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $12,245, approximately 2.1% of the median home sale price for September 2021.
