January 2022: Home prices in New Albany increased

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2022 in New Albany rose by $151,893 while total sales increased by 100%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2022, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $501,893 - a 43.4% increase over the $350,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in New Albany in January 2021.

The median sales tax in New Albany for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $12,245, approximately 2.4% of the median home sale price for January 2022.
