City of Bexley issued the following announcement on Feb 11.

In January, Mayor Kessler announced a national search process for the City of Bexley to select the next Bexley chief of police. In addition, the Mayor shared he would gather community input to get a sense of what Bexley residents want to see in their next police chief. As part of that outreach, the mayor will host two virtual community forums on February 17 at 6:00 pm and February 23 at 11:30 am.

Additional outreach to community organizations will continue through the end of February. At the conclusion of the listening and input gathering sessions, a community engagement report will be shared in early March.

We encourage you to take the online survey here, to provide input and thoughts on what you believe is important for the next Bexley chief of police. Please submit your responses by Friday, February 25. Help us spread the word by sharing the survey link with friends and family!
