The FCSO congratulates Deputy Patrick Gunnell who is one of the recipients of the 2022 American Legion Law Award. In 2021, he led the Patrol Division in proactive policing. His efforts helped take more than a dozen guns from the hands of felons and off of the street. Deputy Gunnell also seized multiple bundles of narcotics, recovered several stolen vehicles, identified and arrested thieves who were plaguing the neighborhoods he patrols.
Before joining the Sheriff’s Office, Deputy Gunnell proudly served as a Petty Officer 2nd Class in the United States Navy. He is a true asset to this office and his community and the FCSO is proud to call him one of our own. Great job!
