New Albany Ace Hardware to give away American flags

New Albany Ace Hardware will give away free American flags on Saturday, May 28 to honor the Memorial Day holiday.

Ohio lost 1,488 soldiers in the Korean war and 1,919 in the Vietnam conflict.

Consumers visiting the store at 5595 New Albany Rd, New Albany will receive a free 8’ by 12’ American flag. A second will be donated to the local VFW Tri-Community Post to be used for marking veterans’ graves on Memorial Day.

This year, Ace Hardware Corporation aims to again give away more than one million American flags nationally. Last year, it gave away more than 500,000 to Ace customers and more than 550,000 to more than 1,900 VFW Posts.

Flags will be available at New Albany Ace Hardware while quantities last. Each consumer is limited to one free flag; no purchase is necessary.

New Albany Ace Hardware is located at 5595 New Albany Rd, New Albany, Ohio. This location is owned by Wendy E Weiler, represented by Robert Moore and managed by Dave Watts.
