AND DON’T COME BACK. Exceptional work by FCSO Deputies who partnered with law enforcement agencies across Franklin County for ‘Operation Unity.’ People living in high crime neighborhoods asked for help, and we are proud to say we brought it in a BIG way. In a 12-hour period in Mifflin and Clinton Townships, deputies made 26-felony arrested, seized 4-illegal weapons including a stolen firearm, and seized 10-grams of fentanyl and 65-grams of methamphetamine. Here’s the real kicker. During that enforcement blitz, with a highly visible law enforcement presence in both communities, deputies didn’t respond to a single ‘priority run.’ No shots fired. No felonious assaults. No violence. The Sheriff’s Office talks a lot about making a difference and we hope our actions speak volumes. Many of those arrested who are desperate to fund their addiction will receive an opportunity to seek treatment. Those who simply take and steal and deal without a conscience received a strong message. A special thanks to Clinton, Mifflin, Blendon, Sharon, and Perry Township Police Departments along with Minerva Park Police for partnering with us and making this focused enforcement a complete success. Have a safe holiday weekend everyone. Call us if you need us. #operationunity #deputy #lawenforcement #strongertogether #makeadifference
