In preparation of the winter storm & chilling temperatures expected for tonight & tomorrow, AEP Ohio offers some storm preparedness & safety tips. | Franklin County Board of Commissioners

In preparation of the winter storm & chilling temperatures expected for tonight & tomorrow, AEP Ohio offers some storm preparedness & safety tips. Now is the time to make plans & prepare for what you should do if there’s a power outage, an increase in winter electric bills, &/or you need payment assistance. 

Winter storm safety tips include:

Assembling an emergency kit with non-perishable food, water, a flashlight, batteries, a battery-powered radio, a first aid kit, your medications, & more.

Deciding now what you will do if there’s an extended power outage.  Staying connected. Receive AEP Ohio text alerts, download AEP Ohio’s app to view their power outage map, & more.  Preparing for increased winter electric bills & payment assistance options:     *  Payment assistance, grant applications if eligible, & staying up-to-date on information about winter bills, & more.
