Still searching for "The one” and not sure where to start?  Let us be your match maker! Whether you know exactly which dog you are interested in meeting or have just begun your search and are looking for suggestions, our experienced staff will be with you every step of the way.

- Looking for a dog that is great with kids?

Ask to meet our friends Darla, Reese and Diogee. All 3 adore children, have wonderful personalities and could do great in a home with small humans!

- Is your dog begging you for a new best friend?

Ask about Tripp, Buckeye and Gulliver! All 3 could do great in a home with another dog to play with and have done wonderful in playgroup here at the shelter.

- Are you more of a homebody and want a laid back, easy-going snuggle buddy?

Adoptable Bailey and Pete may be just what you’ve been searching for!

- How about a dog that is all the above?!

Adoptable Bob Marley and Nellie will likely do great in nearly any home, have done well with dogs and kids and are ready to meet you!

Now through Sunday, February 19th, 2023, the Franklin County Dog Shelter & Adoption Center's Big Dogs, Big Hearts adoption promotion continues with $18 adoptions for all dogs 25+ pounds and 6+ months of age.
