Update on shelter Alum Otto! #NationalLoveYourPetDay

K9 Otto was adopted from the Franklin County Dog Shelter & Adoption Center by the Delaware County, Ohio Sheriff’s Office in 2021.

From the get-go, Otto was destined to make a difference in the world. In a year’s time post adoption, Otto completed and graduated from the FCSO Therapy K9 program. Otto’s mission: to provide comfort and hope to those in need.

Therapy animals are a staple to our community, a dose of light, and from humble beginnings Otto continues to make a difference in the world. Here at the Franklin County Dog Shelter, we are so proud of Otto and all that he has accomplished!

To all of our adopters, thank you for choosing adoption and for giving our dogs the greatest gift of all, love and a place to call home!

Happy National Love Your Pet Day!
