On Sunday, Feb. 2, former Westerville-South High School standout Jake Llaneza’s college team lost in an NCAA Division II baseball game

On Sunday, Feb. 2, former Westerville-South High School standout Jake Llaneza’s current college team, the Lubbock Christian Chaparrals, lost 15-8 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the UT Tyler Patriots.

The game took place at Hays Field and City Bank Clubhouse. This was their fourth matchup against the Patriots this season.

The Chaparrals’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7 at 4 p.m. at Kokernot Field against Sul Ross State Lobos.
