WASHINGTON, D.C. — On August 3, Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) issued the following statement following the passing of Ohio resident and civic leader, Mrs. Nancy King:
“Nancy wore many hats—devoted wife, doting mother, dear friend, community leader, and champion of women, to name a few,” said Congresswoman Beatty about the wife of Reverend Joel King, nephew of Martin Luther King Jr. “Though her passing leaves a hole in all of our hearts, her indelible legacy leaves a mark on all of Central Ohio. To honor Mrs. King, I’m proud to present a Congressional Resolution to her family. I send my strength and steadfast prayers to the entire King family and all those who loved Nancy.”
